What is abortion in the Phil?

Abortion is the termination of pregnsncy by removing the fetus or embryo from the uterus that results to death. Abortion was legal in some country,but in the other country this issue is still on debate about its ethical aspect. In my country abortion was prohibited and has a major opposition from the church. But still , there are some Filipino women that are engaged. Last week there are seven fetus that was found at Davao City and this number is very alarming. It indicates the population in the philippines was continue to rise. I think there is huge explosion on our population. According to my professor, thePhilippines has bigger population than Canada. This shows that it is very hard to prevent poverty in the country.

In our country, using contraceptives was also discriminated and Filipinos are ashame to use such method because of criticism mostly come from churh. But the situation of our country was difficult to handle. If the population will continue to grow rapidly ,I think the situation of our country will be irreversible. The government have difficulties to provide money on the pockets of many poor Filipinos.

I think the one way of reducing this risk, abortion can help to this problem.

Abortion point of view

The "gag" rule was imposed by the former US president George W. Bush eight years ago which prohibit family planning programs in nations that recieve USAid for abortion counseling advocacy, and referrals.
After Obama's inaguration ,Obama said that the gag rule can undermined efforts to promote safe and effective voluntarily family planning insome developing countries. Banning the gag rule and making safe as legal aspect can induce opposition from the church. The church will strongly opposses to Obama's action , because they believe that abortion is a sin. But if we are going to look at the global crisis today eliminating gag rule's advocacy can help in eliminating this global crisis. this could help specially to some developing countries which has a large population. Large number of population in a country could affect its resources and national budget cause there's a lot of people to feed and looking for jobs. Now if our population is very vast to grow , how can we send our child to school, how can the government provide jobs for all of its people and how come the government stops hunger and poverty.
